Since 1998, KIDS ARE 1ST has created hundreds of community programs designed to keep our children safe. You can find our trained and dedicated volunteers serving their community doing child ID, correcting child passenger seat installations, and performing distracted/impaired teen driving demonstrations.

State Farm at the Burbank Family BBQ

Our events provide a fun atmosphere where families can spend time together while learning extremely useful information about children’s safety. Many of our exciting safety events also feature food, music, and safety tips from police and fire officials. Some events have afforded visitors the opportunity to see law enforcement K9s in action, explore the inside of a fire truck, and get a personal tour of a Flight For Life medical helicopter. Who knew safety could be so fun and educational?
