KIDS ARE 1ST is an organization dedicated to protect children and educate families through child ID events and car seat safety checks.

Our mission is to create an awareness of how to keep children safe. According to the FBI, 3 children are reported missing every 2 minutes which is a total of 825,600 each year! Our child ID kit provides a vital tool for parents to keep and use in the unfortunate event of a child being lost or taken. When seconds count the kit provides crucial information authorities need to help recover a child.

Child Safety seats reduce the risk of fatal injury by 71% for infants and by 54% for toddlers in passenger cars when used and installed correctly. Unfortunately, as many as 9 out of 10 seats are installed and used improperly. Our goal is to make sure that families use and install car seats the correct way. If 100% of motor vehicle occupants were protected by child safety seats, an estimated 550 lives could have been saved.
