Events & Community Programs

Since 1993, KIDS ARE 1ST has created hundreds of community programs designed to keep our children safe. You can find our trained and dedicated volunteers serving their community photographing, fingerprinting, and handing out our free Child ID Kits at businesses throughout California and Illinois.

Our events provide a fun atmosphere where families can spend time together while learning extremely useful information about children’s safety. Many of our exciting safety events also feature food, music, and safety tips from police and fire officials. Some events have given visitors the chance to see police dogs, explore the inside of a fire truck, and get an up close look at a Flight For Life medical helicopter. Who knew safety could be so fun!
