KIDS ARE 1ST - COMMUNITY SAFETY EVENTS FOR CHILDREN, TEENS, & FAMILIES

Founded in 1993 by Marilyn and Arnold Weinger, KIDS ARE 1ST is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization driven by a personal experience. Witnessing the emotional turmoil caused by a child's abduction, they dedicated themselves to educating the public and preventing such tragedies. Their community safety events now include Child Passenger safety checks and distracted/impaired driver demonstrations.

Ms. Weinger, an elected city official, initiated Community Safety Day in Highland Park, IL, expanding it to other cities in Illinois and California. Today, the Weingers continue to volunteer at Kids Are 1st, prioritizing the safety of our children.
